Breakfast In Bed

Jani says, "Breakfast in bed, provided it's a Saturday or a Sunday. This is just too difficult to do with the pre- and post- breakfast chores that go on in most of our nests every a.m. (Better have an imaginary dry run of this the day before to make sure you can get it there hot.)"

  1. Good Morning Kat!
Usually, breakfast in bed consists of blueberry or Cinnamon bagels with cream cheese, orange juice and coffee...that should not be too difficult to get it there hot, huh? ☺

  3. So I started making breakfast for Allen and Aedan and Nathaniel got up and asked to help. We made breakfast burritos, juice, coffee and blue berries with fresh whipped cream. By the time we were done Samuel was helping, too. They wanted to take it back so I told them sure. Aedan looked at the coffee which I had poured into a mug my parents gave me with Ellie's picture on it. He said, "Ummm, Mom could we get a more manly cup before we take it to Pa?" After the coffee was poured they trooped down the hall and deposited the tray happily. A good start to the weekend!

  5. Good morning, Ladies~

I have to laugh at this because I was going to make Skippy breakfast in bed and he said, "No thank you. The only thing I want to do in that bed is SLEEP!" ROFLOL! Hmmm....ok! ha ha ha

However, I did make him a special breakfast this morning for him and he was soooo appreciative!

    I LOVE MY SKIPPY MAN! :> )

    Blessings~

  6. Your Skippy is a hoot! Have I said that before? Anyway, you tried and it sounds like he got a special breakfast anyway which surely showed him that you were thinking of him... and that's the point, right?

    Hugs,

  7. Absolutely, Kat, that is that whole point! It is nice to know that they really do appreciate the little things that we do for them.

I FINALLY got to make him his I LOVE MY SKIPPY MAN grilled cheese sandwiches, however it was thrown together and eaten within ten minutes. His department got out till late so he didn't get home until 7:45 and he had to be in bed by 8:00. :> ( You should have seen the look on his face though when I handed him dinner........PRICELESS!! What a smile! :> ) That made everything so worth it!
I did get to take a picture of it though. It wasn't too bad considering it was "THROWN" together with such speed! LOL

And I completely agree with you, Kat.....
My Skippy Man is a hoot! :> )

    Blessings~
