ReplyDeleteOh, Kat.....I do this one everyday! I always try and tell Skippy how PROUD we are of him in his job and his efforts in providing for his family.
His new job started back in November and has him working extremely long hours. He averages between 60-70 hours per week, so that 1/2 hour we get to spend with him each day is PRICELESS!
Thank God for our WONDERFUL HUSBANDS!

I always tell Bill this, also. I know it is not easy fighting this world to provide for our family. I let him know how much I appreciate what he does that allows me to be with our children.

I agree with the others, this is so important! So often our husbands *don't* get the recognition they deserve at their jobs, but even if they *do*, they need to know that *we* appreciate all their hard work! The Husband just got back from a business trip after midnight last night, and had to go in today for meetings, so I'll be sure to tell him how thankful I am for his incredible work ethic and how he takes care of us!
ReplyDeleteWell, what can I say to you ladies except, "A job well done." We should never underestimate the way we help our men succeed simply by taking the time to encourage them as they face the world.
